SUEDESHOP.COM was founded by Michiko Somerville as a division of Michiko's Creations and as the site for synthetic suede yardage sales.. The story of Michiko's company began in 1986 when she founded Michiko's Creations. She started with a 15 word  advertisement placed in a magazine promoting ULTRASUEDE® Scrap  Bags. A few years later she began selling yardage. After several years of hard work and dedication to her customers, her company now carries one of the  largest selections of Ultrasuede®, UltraleatherTM and Sensuede® Brand Fabrics. Michiko has become an expert in synthetic suede fabrics, and hopes to pass on this knowledge to you. Her  patrons range from individuals, to small businesses,  to manufactures scattered throughout Austraila, Japan, North America, and the United Kingdom.
